Demonstration hedgerows will be co-designed and planted at the UBC, UFV, and KPU research farms to show how perennial plantings work in practice, and what benefits they can provide. These sites will serve as hands-on learning spaces where our researchers, partners, and community members can share knowledge and gain insight into how on-the-ground examples and extension efforts support farmers’ adoption of perennial plantings.
