The ‘PERCS’ (Perennial and Ecosystem Restoration for Carbon Sequestration) partnership connects four Canadian universities with seven partner organizations (non-profit organizations, farmer/producer industry partners, and provincial government agency) to create a technical approach for promoting the use of perennial plantings – such as hedgerows, windbreaks, and riparian restoration – in agricultural areas.
